Whale Watching

“THAR SHE BLOWS”  Experience a thrill of a life time whale watching along beautiful Santa Barbara Coastline or out to the Channel Islands.  There are over 27 species of marine mammals you can encounter on a whale watching trip.

There are three seasons for whale watching in Santa Barbara.  February thru May for coastal California Gray Whales, May through September for Blue and Humpback Whales at the Channel Islands, and October through December for Gray Whales at the Channel Islands.  During these whale watching trips, you’ll have a great opportunity to see Dolphins, Porpoises, and lots of other marine life.

Coastal Whale Watching trips are 2 ½ hours daily at  9:00, 12:00, & 3:00Island Whale Watching trips are 4 1/2 hours running daily at 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.It’s time to go Whale Watching and don’t forget to bring your camera.
